Deschutes Brewery : Favorite Of Pub Crawlers In Portland When it comes to pub crawling in Portland, Deschutes Brewing is a classy stop to regroup and recharge in the Pearl District Area.It is around 1.2 mile from Hilton Downtown where we were staying during a recent vacation. Barrels of beer decorate the large dining room, which also features stone walls, distressed wood and other rustic design touches. With more than a dozen taps pouring the usual suspects along with a collection of seasonal and experimental brews . The bar has something for every beer lover. The kitchen serves fresh, sustainable fare, including  options for vegetarians like me. Non-veg among our group enjoyed their beer-battered halibut and  the smoked brisket.  The steamed clams with a side of sweet potato fries also keep you going until your next destination. . कई बार आपको अपनी हद तय करनी पड़ती है कुछ समय के  लिए अपने यायावर मन को देना पड़ता है विश्राम चलते चलते क़दम सहसा ठिठक जाते हैं अस्पताल के बेड से आपको देखना पड़ता है एक मुट्ठी आकाश खिड़की के बाहर घास पर चलती गौरैया बन जाती है आपकी सहचर तेज़ हवा से सरसराती घास की जीवंतता आप को कुछ और जीने को कहती है जब धूप सामने के घने पेड़ पर आ कर थक ज़ाती है पक्षी आ कर उस पेड़ पर बसेरा करने के लिए इधर उधर से एक एक कर के आ जाते हैं तो लगता है चलो थोड़ी देर नींद ले ली जाय सुबह प्रकाश की पहली किरण फ़ूलों पर बिखरती है तो इस बेड तक चंपई उजाला आ जाता है यार्ड में कठफोडवे के लगातार पेड़ पर चोंच मरने की आवाज घड़ी की टिक टिक लगती है कुल मिला कर ऐसा लगता है जैसे जीवन का चक्र चल रहा है और मैं जल्द ही लम्बे सफ़र पर चल पड़ूँगा ! Plan to travel to province of Pontevedra and the south of the province of Corunna in the autonomous community of Galicia, to explore the magic of Albariño.  In this region roughly 180 wineries are functional and specialize in white wines. यह कोई कविता नहीं है .......... जिन्हें गुमान था दुनिया को अपने सर पे उठाने का  वो भी दफ़्न हैं समय के ऐसे ही किसी क़ब्रगाह में  हर शख़्स को पता होता है  अगर वह दुनिया में आया है  तो एक दिन इस दुनिया में नहीं रहेगा  वो लोग जो उसके कोर्निश के लिए पंक्तिबद्ध रहते हैं  उसका पानदान , पीकदान , ब्रीफ़केस , ग़रूर  सब कुछ अपने कंधे पर ढोते रहते हैं  आख़िरी समय में शायद  उसकी  क़ब्र पर एक अँजुरी मिट्टी भी न डाल पाएँगे. यह बात अगर इंसान रोज सुबह सोच ले  तो हो सकता है दुनिया में चल रहे ख़ून ख़राबे कम हो जाएँ  लेकिन मुझे यह भी पता है ये मेरे शब्द  लोग पढ़ कर इतना ग़ुस्सा  हो जाएँगे  इन्हें सीधे डस्टबिन में डाल देंगे  मुझे इसकी परवाह नहीं है  मैं तो रोज क़ब्रगाह की तरफ़ से निकलता हूँ .               शब्द और छाया प्रदीप गुप्ता 

मुझे चाहिए जीवन उस काँटे जैसा  जो कली के फूल बनने का साक्षी रहता है  फूल योवन पर आते ही आकर्षित करता है  एक नहीं कई ऐसे फूल प्रेमियों को  जो उसे तोड़ कर ट्राफ़ी की तरह  ड्राइंग रूम में गुलदस्ते   में सज़ाना चाहते  हैं  और उसके योवन के ढलते ही  डस्टबिन में ट्रैश कर देते हैं  काँटा ऐसे लोगों से फूल को बचाने की कोशिश करता है  अक्सर उन्हें लहू लहान भी कर देता है  पर काँटा काँटा ही तो है  कोई सुपरमैन नहीं . काँटा छोटा हो या फिर अपने योवन पर  उससे पंगा लेने की हिमाक़त कोई नहीं करता.                           शब्द और छाया अंकन प्रदीप गुप्ता
