Last night, I was watching '2012' movie on UTV Action. The movie shows possibility of natures' revenge    in the form of alarming rise in temperature of earth posing mass destruction of cities, deluge, etc. in response to  mindless destruction of greenery as well as over exploitation of natural resources. At the end of the movie, you feel sigh of relief that it is only a work of fiction.  But rest assure, if the society will not stop nature's unmindful over exploitation  then '2012' like situation is not far off. Take example of depletion  of mangroves in Mumbai area. Last big deluge badly affected whole of the city, but nothing happened to Lokhandwala area because of protective shield of mangroves. But the landsharks, landgrabers  are unleashed, hand in globe with politicians and bureaucrats destroying mangroves thus posing great threat to our survival. T he last twenty  minutes of my journey from Bagdogra to Guwahati was breathtaking, peeping from window one can view mighty Himalayas, snow caped peaks and majestic river Brahmputra  traveling from steep to gentle  slopes. But the moment you approach Guwahati, you find green plains, where small houses covered with tin shades add glamour to the green landscape. BRAVO OSHIWARA LOKHANDWALA : KEEP IT UP! Suddenly  everybody is talking about protecting fast depleting mangroves. The question,  an ordinary citizen asks : why it is important and what are the possible threats due to destruction of  mangroves.  Let me talk issues one by one. सफरनामा ५ : चलो एक बार फिर से बच्चे बन जाएँ हम दोनों -डिज्ने-लैंड  एडवेंचर लैंड  में ज्वालामुखी फटने का रोमांचक नजारा  यू एस स्ट्रीट में परेड  स्टोरी सेशन  यह डिस्ने प्रवेश द्वार का दृश्य  परेड का एक और दृश्य डिज्ने लेंड हांग कांग में २००५ में सैलानियों  के लिए खोला गया है,  सच तो यह है की हांग कांग में सैलानियों के आगमन का एक और बड़ा कारण बन गया है,. देखा जाय तो तमाम एशिया और पेसिफिक क्षेत्र में एक मात्र डिज्नेलेंड है. आकार  की बात करें तो यह दुनिया भर में फैले अन्य डिज्ने की तुलना में सबसे छोटा है, लेकिन यह इसकी यूएसपी भी है. 'स्माल इस ब्यूटीफुल '! यह  मुख्य आइलैंड से जरा दूर हट के एअरपोर्ट रोड  पर लंताऊ आइलैंड में है, पैनी बे में इसे  भू भराव करके ५५ एकड़ में बनाया गया है. डिज्ने  पार्क के साथ ही कम्पनी ने रेसोर्ट और होटल भी बनाया है यदि भाग दौड़ में ना देख कर जरा आराम से सारी राइड, शो और मौज  मस्ती  करनी हो तो रेसोर्ट में ही रहना उचित होगा, मुख्य गेट...

बंजी जम्पिंग  - मकाऊ टावर   मकाऊ टावर  चाइनीज मंदिर  वेनिशियन मकाऊ  गंडोला सवारी १२ जनवरी को हमें  मकाऊ की  यात्रा  की शुरुआत करनी  थी.  हांग  कांग में हम  होटल शैमराक में रुके हुए थे वहां  से कवालून  फैरी - वार्फ तक का कार से रास्ता महज पांच मिनट का  है, यहीं से हमें फैरी द्वारा मकाऊ तक का रास्ता तय करना था.     फैरी - वार्फ के अन्दर पहुँच कर यकीन ही नहीं हुआ कि यह वार्फ है ऐसा लगा जैसे हम किसी सेवेन स्टार एअरपोर्ट पर पहुँच गए हों. लिफ्ट दर लिफ्ट,  कहीं चलना ही नहीं, इमिग्रेशन की औपचारिकता में भी बहुत कम समय लगा, सब कुछ इतना व्यवस्थित कि बस देखते रह जाएँ. कवालून से मकाऊ का फैरी का सफ़र ५०-६० मिनट का है, दस मिनट तो कवालून और हांग कांग की स्काई लाइन देखते हुए कट गए, बाद में चाय, काफी, बियर की चुस्किओं में रास्ता कट गया. मकाऊ की स्काई लाइन भी हांग कांग जैसी ही है बस इमारतों की ऊंचाई जरा कम है , सिटी लाइन का विस्तार भी हांग कांग  से छोटा है. फैरी से उ...
