Stefan Voormans completed 650 km Cyclothan in seven days

Stefan Voormans who completed 650 km distance on a specially designed cycle from Kohlapur to Mumbai via Karad , Satara, Sangsmner , Pune, Thane 
Stefan is from Nettetal city ,Germany . At the age of 17 , he met an accident while riding on scooter  that had  changed his life . He was paralyzed , despite 64 surgeries and long treatment his legs were not functional. He took this accident as a challenge and started his life afresh. 
In the year 2002, Stefan tried hand cycling and started taking  part in l hand cycling events around the world- most of them were Marathon distance ie 42 km . Laurel started falling in his kitty , placed 7th in New York Marathon in 2007 , came 4th twice in Beirut Marathon in 2009 and 2010 also won German Championship in Paratriathlon in 2010,
Apart from actively involved in cycling events , he works as Executive Director of German NGO Somedi Nettetal e.V.
This year Stefan added one more laurel , he has completed ‘Cyclothon 2020’, an initiative organized  jointly by Ratna Nidhi and IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he covered 650 km distance from Kohlapur to Mumbai en route  Karad, Satara, Nashik, Sangmaner, Pune, Thane in a short span of seven days. It completed today morning at Powai , while he finished the distance two hours before the scheduled arrival time. Says Stefan , ‘The  main purpose of my cycling to spread awareness about orthopaedic disability . 
Stefan has set an example before the society that your disability should not become your obstacle to achieve goals in life. “For me, cycling has been a good experience in India as I am well conversant with Indian traffic since my first landing in 2005 in India’ while talking atan IMC event at Churchgate.
Stefan Voorman's this heroic act is an inspiriation for many physically disabled individuals.
Stefan was facilitated in a ceremony at IMC by  Sumit Mallick , State Chief Information Commissioner , Ashish Vaid , President IMC was also present on the occasion who stressed that  this cyclothan event is to highlight the society’s commitment towards physically disabled people.

A Peep Into Life Of A Stand-up Comedian - Punit Pania

I met Punit Pania yesterday at Independence Brewing Company. an happening watering hole in Lokhandwala area just before his stand-up comedy act. In fact he was generous enough to share his space with The Book  Club event on first floor of pub, he shared his journey from a safe Corporate Den to the wild world of stand-up comedians. Elton John is my most favorite singer. He is a singer, songwriter, pianist and composer all rolled into one. In terms of sales, he is the fourth-best-selling music artist worldwide .
