Cedar or देवदार is a tall and wide tree. There is a saying in kumayuni about this tree सौ साल पला सौ साल खड़ा और सौ साल रखा. That is the quality and virtue of this tree. Big cedar Trees are normally 200 ft high and 20 ft in circumference!
Today I saw this big red cedar’s stump in Arlington area in Washington State
, the tree believed to be 1000 year old which was destroyed by fire a century back and the stump remained left. During construction of route 99 these hollow remains were shifted to the present place by Crown Prince Olav and Princess Martha of Norway in May 1988.
