WWDC 2018
Apple is expected to launch an exciting new iPhone feature to address a problem it helped create: PHONE ADDICTION.
Here in this event, Apple CEO Tim Cook is likely to announce the company's latest software updates and road-map for the future on this Monday at the Apple's annual developer conference in San Jose. WWDC 2018 is a software-focused event for developers, and this year Apple isn't expected to make any major hardware announcements.
For new features, market buz says that Apple is mostly focusing on security and stability with this round of software updates, but one of the more exciting changes we are expecting is that macOS will be able to run iOS apps.
It seems likely that Apple will be making some changes to iOS in order to combat 'smartphone addiction'. Apple’s devices are too addictive, according to Apple investors Jana Partners LLC and the California State Teachers’ Retirement System, and Apple in response has promised more "robust" parental controls so that use of iPhones and iPads can be monitored.
We also expect Apple to tell us more about its plans for AR. The company will be showcasing ARKit 2.0, according to Bloomberg. Apparently the update will make it possible for users to play AR games against each other in the same virtual environment, and for objects to be dropped into an area and virtually remain in place.
Okay we just wait ........
