Change Your Life By Integrating Five Universal Forces
I learned to integrate five universal forces in my life from a cultural anthropologist. Perhaps there are some you also do each day, while others may be harder. There is no order, and none is more important than the other.
Heal
Embrace healing each day. It always occurs in a natural rhythm, medium to slow, never in the fast lane.High trust needs rest. We each carry our own unique medicine, and it is our honor and duty to develop it and share in the world. I feel an urgency for each of us to step up and offer our healing gifts.
Initiate
We can initiate or ignite the spark of learning something new every day through observation. Curiosity and open mindedness. An initiation is often marked with a rite of passage ceremony, celebrating the acceptance or entrance into a group when people have demonstrated they have learned something well enough to be included into it.
Create
Create something new every day with intention. It could be music, art, writing or food or in the garden you tend. Creating might emanate from a child you nurture, a story you tell, or how you dress or set the table with flowers and color. Bring your inmate creative forces to play every day.
Integrate
After reflection and contemplation, this force unifies separate ideas, deepen them, and makes sense of them. It intermixes people, concepts and beliefs and makes them whole, balancing fragmented parts in yourself or community.
Transform
This is when you come into your own, unfolding or blossoming. It ensures you will grow or change through big insights, life crises, or transitions. Like a turn of seasons, your old references and patterns transform with a new inner knowing that you integrate into your behavior and your action.
How To Start The Process
Track into your scrapbook how you have integrated each of the five universal forces each day. Which is more prevalent in your life? Which takes more effort? Which has more meaning? If we want to integrate a new behavior, it requires a daily practice of twenty eight days in a month. So try tracking one force for a week, then adding from there.
