Mumbai 25th March 2015 Over a period of last 10 years, Apex body of Indian Trade and Industry, FICCI has tried placing entertainment business in the centre stage through its annual event FICCI Frames. It was also a sincere effort to bring all the stakeholders of entertainment business on the same page and on a single platform. But this year I noticed that everyone was there but the Government was not there. I saw couple of newspapers today full of controversy that even rocked both the houses of Indian Parliament, besides long debate in newspapers, TV and social media. One of the accused of Nirbhaya Rape Case Mukesh Singh languishing his jail term at Tihar, was interviewed by film maker Lesille Udwin for her documentary 'India's Daughter' for BBC on this case. Our parliamentarians are outraged on the permission to Lesille to record Mukesh Singh's version about the Nirbhaya rape. There are many independent voices also, opposing release of this documentary rather getting it banned. It was 16 December 2012, Nirbhaya was returning home with her boy friend after a late night cinema show, taken lift in a private bus, she was brutally murdered after rape by the staff and their friends in the running bus. क्या शीर्षक पढ़ कर हंसी आ गयी, पर यह मेरे पिछले ४० दिनों की राम कहानी है। मेरे बेटे का विवाह कोई १ दिसंबर के आस पास दिल्ली से तय हुआ था , ख्याल आया कि यदि यह विवाह दिल्ली में गया तो अपने अधिकाँश मुंबईवासी मित्र वहां पहुँच ही नहीं पाएंगे। वधु पक्ष से बात हुई , उनके लिए मुंबई इतना बड़ा आयोजन करना संभव नहीं लग रहा था , मैंने दोनों पक्षों की जिम्मेदारी लेकर आयोजन का निर्णय लिया। फ़टाफ़ट मेहमानों की आवासीय व्यवस्था , अतिथि सूची , आमंत्रण प्रेषण , कैटरर का चयन , पुष्प सज्जा, स्टेज , डी जे , संगीत संध्या, परंपरागत इवेंट्स, कॉकटेल इवनिंग ढेर सारे काम या यूं कहिये वर - वधु पक्ष दोनों की जिम्मेवारी ओढ़ ली। इस सारे आयोजन के बारे में सोच सोच कर बहुत आनंद आ रहा। इसी बीच मैंने अपने फ्लैट में शिफ्ट किया , अगले दिन सोचा गैस के पेपर गैस एजेंसी में दे दूँ। बस एजेंसी से बाहर निकला ही था कि पीछे से एक १६-१७ साल का एक नौजवान पूरी स्पीड में फुटपाथ पर आ चढ़ा और सीधे मुझे ठोक दिया, धक्का इतना जबरदस्त था कि मैं चार पांच फिट ऊपर उछल कर सीधे जमीन पर आ गिरा। आस पास के लोग आ जुटे , मुझे उठाया एक क्...
