Now a days, due to intrusion of TV Channel and social media, most of the people  simply do not read books and magazines. Many iconic newspapers and magazines like Boston Globe, Star Tribune, Readers Digest, National Geographic Adventures, Blender, Smart Money ceased print editions.  In these circumstances, it is a kind of challenge to run a magazine that too published by a person with  limited resources. That is why I  commend Rajesh Shrivastava  to run a film magazine with no financial backing. He is one such zealot who is managing to run Films Today. Rajesh Srivastava with Pakistani heroine Meera Rajesh with Manohar Thakur, Pradeep Gupta and Sanjay Verma Today, Rajesh has celebrated 7th anniversary of his magazine with his friends, well wishers from film and entertainment fraternity. Image
From last six days, I am almost stationed at Asian Heart Institute. It has proved to be closed encounter of Heart kind. My close relative has undergone through open heart surgery on 20th Feb 2013. In fact he was getting some warning signals that heart is not just right. But the problem is that warning signals of heart disease and gastric problems are pretty similar. He  all along used to go to office in his car, but from few weeks, he started going by local, whenever he walked a while on platform, he used to feel heaviness in chest for 25-30 minutes, but thought it may be because of eating something heavier. When he had gone to a cardiac just by chance, after angiography got to know that there was severe blockade in 5 arteries ranging from 70 to 80 percent. The doctor advised to undergo bypass surgery. Need to Know Neuromarketing

Most humans are a little more complicated than rats, of course. But we are largely motivated by what makes us feel good, especially when it comes to our purchasing decisions. To that end, many major corporations have begun to take special interest in how understanding the human brain can help them better understand consumers. Enter a nascent but fast-growing field called neuromarketing, which uses brain-tracking tools to determine why we prefer some products over others. Neuromarketing research can predict the effect of TV ads, even before the commercial is made. Effective TV commercials evoke a unique pattern of brain activity, the scientists from Neurensics concluded after studying over 150 commercials, including award-winning ads like Effies, humorous and even irritating ads. Functional magnetic resonance imaging makes it possible to read what is going on in people’s brains while seeing certain stimuli. By measuring emotions in the brain of the consumer with an MRI-scanner, ...

Harness Power of Digital for PR

As the public relations industry constantly shifts to adapt to the changing marketing mix, it is imperative for organisations to demonstrate their capabilities through their own marketing efforts. To be both, the central anchor and mouthpiece of an agency’s positioning, a source of insight, ideas and provocation through opinion. And a context for the advice shared with clients. Potential clients might be dazzled by a digitally-driven communications strategy presented during the pitch process but if your website is just a glorified online shop window, you’re going to be hard pressed to win them over. Today it’s hard enough for PR and marcomms people to define their work mandate. They might be launching a product, dealing with a crisis, strengthening media relations or developing comprehensive communications solutions and the list goes on and on. Activities are diverse but at the heart of all of this is one desire and aim: to engage people.  To conceive an idea that has at its v...
