Atul Agrawal : A Dream Come True
I love monster.com TVC, where it is shown that an ace cricketer is washing clothes at Dhobighat with his bat and an ace Bharatnatyam dancer is guiding a plane to halt at the mark on airport. Such instances are very common, happen with most of us. Many among us hardly get an opportunity to pursue career of our choice and compelled to do the work which may not be of our choice.
This happened with my friend Atul Agrawal who was trained at Company Secretary, did his law graduation, worked as Company Secretary, became a ace builder, earned good name in his industry. But basically his heart was close to verse and used to write lovable shayri, he could not choose Shayari as his full time profession. Whenever he used to get chance, he used to recite in mehfils, on TV or radio butdid not have any thing substantial to his credit, this was despite the fact that he had more than 40 manuscripts ready for publication.
Some friends insisted, some encouraged him, some helped him, with the result he has now been able to pbulish a set of four books titled 'Reshmi Hatkadi', 'Babul Kee Chaon', 'Hawaon Ke Ghungru 'and 'Ajanma Suraj'. Now the target was to catch up literary crowd at International Literary Festival at jaipur, which is called Maha Kumbh of mind. This festival basically target firangi authors, firangi book lovers. What you will really miss is Hindi and other Indian languages's books as well authors. With great efforts Atul Bhai's book was displayed among all the firangi titles, people saw it purchased it ! On the top of it the book was released at jaipur by a book lover Hon Minister of Urban Development Shanti Dhariwal.
Atul feels that his journey to the world of literature has just started. He want to reach the people who love shayri, that is why tried to work a cost to cost price of his books. Each book contains sample recording of his Dohas, Ghazals, Nazms.
The best part of the creative process of Atul is that he writes every day, this makes his collection richer day by day !
