Ray Green : Second inning as Nature Photographer
Issaquah Highlands Photography Club (IHPC) is active in encouraging young enthusiastic photographers, organises photo walks, talks and workshop every month . Today the Club invited Ray Green to give his preszntation about his quest into nature photography. Quips Ray, ' I was retired in the year 2008, and thereafter my quest for photography started.' when asked how he has entered into this creative zone. Ray knew few basics about photography but after retirement he suddenly realized that he has enough time at his disposal so he can pursue this fine art as serious Second Innings. He started taking journeys to far flung places as well as lakes, falls, forests close to Seattle. Camping at a place to observe the nature and then shoot series of pictures in different part of day to click the best shot. Ray also gives credit to his wife in his pursuit to become a professional photographer to his wife as she goes on these walks, drives along with him and allows him to experiment...
